Wahoo fishing peaks in the cooler months, roughly November through April, though we take them year-round along the deep ledges and drop-offs near the marina.
High-speed trolling
We pull weighted lures and wire-leadered baits at higher speeds along steep contours where wahoo ambush bait. Drag settings and wire rigging matter — our crew has both dialled in.
Great table fare
Wahoo is a firm, clean white fish and a favourite for grilling or escovitch. We fillet it before you leave the marina.
