Montego Bay's drop-off sits just minutes from the marina, so a short run puts you on mahi-mahi, wahoo, tuna, kingfish, snapper and grouper.
Trophy Catch
Blue Marlin
The Caribbean's ultimate trophy. Blue marlin off Montego Bay typically run 100–300 lbs, with bigger fish pushing past 400 lbs. They hold along the deep drop-off, and a big one lighting up the spread is the fish of a lifetime.
Wahoo
Available year-round
The fastest fish in the Caribbean. Wahoo hit a high-speed trolling spread and take off — a screaming reel and a serious fight. Firm white fillets that grill beautifully.
Yellowfin & Blackfin Tuna
Available year-round
Tuna feed hard around bait schools and diving birds off Montego Bay. Pound for pound one of the strongest fights on the boat, and unbeatable fresh for sashimi or seared steaks.
White Marlin
Available year-round
A smaller marlin with pure acrobatics — jump after jump on lighter tackle. A hard fighter and a great photo opportunity.
Sailfish
Available year-round
Lit-up sails and long runs on the surface. Sailfish show along the drop-off year-round and make for the best photos of the trip.
Kingfish (King Mackerel)
Available year-round
Fast, hard-hitting mackerel that hammer trolled baits near the reef edge. Reliable action and great smoked or grilled.
Spanish Mackerel & Barracuda
Available year-round
Aggressive, toothy and quick. They keep the rods bent close to the reef edge and almost always show up on the shorter coastal trip.
Snapper & Grouper
Available year-round
Our reef and bottom fishing targets. Reliable action for kids and beginners, and the best table fish on the island. Great on the 4-hour trip when the offshore is rough.
Jacks & Bonito
Available year-round
Amberjack, horse-eye jack and bonito round out most days. Plenty of bend in the rod even when the big pelagics are slow.
Barracuda
Available year-round
Fast, aggressive strikes close to the reef. Barracuda hit hard, fight on light tackle and show up year-round, which makes them one of the most reliable catches in Montego Bay.
